Meet Dr. Tiffany Brown
Dentistry is truly where my heart is — I love working in the field, learning about new advances, and building relationships with patients that can last a lifetime.
It all began in high school when I had the opportunity to shadow employees at a pediatric office for a class project. This experience steered me to become a dental assistant, but I knew I wanted more. I missed the clinical side, so I furthered my education to become a dentist.
I strive to instill confidence in my patients while providing exceptional care. That’s why I continue to learn about new techniques to make your experience comfortable and worry-free. At Mt. Hood Family Dental, gaining your trust is the best thing we can do.
What is a Sleep Dentist?
A sleep dentist is trained to treat sleep apnea with oral appliances and other dental-made devices. Generally, a sleep apnea dentist will work with other sleep-specialized physicians to properly diagnose and treat patients with sleep apnea.
Can a Dentist Tell If You Have Sleep Apnea?
Depending on the training a dentist had, some may be able to assist in diagnosing sleep apnea. However, most official diagnosis’ should be done at a sleep center by a sleep doctor.
Dentists, like Dr. Brown, may still perform screening to provide proper treatment for sleep apnea.
